MedaSystems welcomes Dr. Jean Godin as advisor

We’re happy to welcome Dr. Jean Godin as an advisor to MedaSystems. Jean has extensive experience running global Managed Access programs and will serve as an advisor for both product and strategic direction.

Background

Jean was Head of Global Access Programs, Expanded Access Programs, Humanitarian Programs, Medical Governance, and the medical oversight of Patient Programs at Sanofi. He joined the Specialty Care Division of Sanofi in May 2016. Prior to Sanofi, Jean was at Novartis Canada in the position of Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, reporting to the CEO. Jean started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1999, when he headed scientific affairs in Canada at Teva Pharmaceuticals (innovative division). He became General Manager for the branded activities of Teva in Canada in 2007 where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of the innovative portfolio.

Jean holds a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Montreal, a post Graduate diploma in Family Medicine from the University of Montreal and a MBA in Business Administration from McGill University. He is a licensed physician of the Quebec College of Physician & Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). He practiced medicine full time in the Montreal area in both university and community hospitals until he joined the pharmaceutical industry in December of 1999. Jean currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts and maintains a part-time medical practice in Montreal.
